Public transportation in Vienna
Public transportation is operated by Wiener Linien, with exception of the Metropolitan railway (Schnellbahn) operated by the OEBB. However, your Wiener Linien ticket will be valid also on the Schnellbahn within the city boundary.
If you need to use public transport through the conference days, a 72h Vienna card would be a useful option (€ 17,10). It is available at tabacconists (Trafik) or at ticket machines at any subway/S-Bahn station.
